The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s Zaay Green and Bethune-Cookman’s O’Mariyah Tucker its SWAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week for their impressive performances during games played this past week.

Green notched her third triple-double of the season with 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field versus FAMU. She tallied 10 rebounds, and 11 assists during UAPB’s win over Florida A&M. The triple-double moved Green to 2nd in the nation in that category. Green followed her triple-double with 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field to go along with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block shot during Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s game against Bethune Cookman.
Impact
Tucker scored nine points against Mississippi Valley State on a 4-of-7 shooting touch from the field. She grabbed six rebounds and handed out one assist in a 76-57 victory over MVSU. She registered 14 points with three (3) three-pointers against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, adding 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the campaign. She also went on to post one assist and two steals on the night.
